Buy Ads - how does this work?

As an advertiser, you have the ability to buy Ads on the sites of your choice. The Ad Locations and the type of ads "Text, Image, Video, Popunder" will be specified by the Publisher, you choose the ad type from the tab block (picture right) and select one of the available products. See more here.

Ad Campaigns - how do they work?

As an advertiser, you have the ability to place your ads on Publisher sites using PPC "Pay Per Click" technology, this guarantees that your selected Text, Image, Video or Popunder ads will be distributed throughout every Publisher site in the Ads Network. Simply set your campaign total budget, the maximum Cost Per Click and your daily budget. Ad offers, how do they work?

Publishers now have the option of allowing Advertisers to make offers on their selected products, this includes 1 day, 1 week and 30 day ads "not available for PPC ads". Where you see the "Make Offer" button on the site profile page, enter a figure and follow the system to process your order.

In the example on the right an Advertiser has made an offer of $5.00 for a 7 Day Text Ad, he then proceeds to the BUY NOW button where the offer will be posted to the Publisher for approval.

Note: Most offers are accepted if the pricing is fair.

What is GEO and Language targeting on the Ad Campaigns page?

GEO and language targeting allows you to distribute your ads to sites in specific counties and languages, for more information see the Ad Campaigns page.

What are the differences between PPC and PPI?

- PPC "Pay Per Click" this is the cost each time your ad is clicked on and a user lands on your site.
- PPI "Pay Per Impression" this is the cost each time your ad is visible on a Publisher site.

Note: Offers are not available for these two forms of advertising as they are based on Ad Campaigns

Video Ads - how do they work?

Video ads are presented on our network at a resolution of 320x240 pixels, you can upload your videos to us from various formats including (.avi, .mpg, .mpeg, .wmv, .mp4, .mov, .flv), our servers will automatically process and convert to FLV format in real-time. Please be patient if you are uploading large video files, the system will notify you on completion.

Which graphic and banner files do you support?

We support GIF, Animated GIF, JPEG, PNG and Flash graphics, please ensure that your image files do not exceed 30k in size as this will slow down the refresh on our Publisher sites.

What about Text Link Ads?

We support TLAds up to 5 lines vertical area with 1 line description, it is our understanding that TLAds can be used and shared with Google ads, however, this may change at any time. Please consult your Google TOS "Terms of Service" for more information.

What methods of payment do you take?

We currently accept PayPal for all payments on our network.

When and how will I get paid as a Publisher?

We process payments on the 1st of each month using PayPal Mass Pay which reflects very low charges for all our Publishers "see PayPal for current charge rates". Payment will be made to all Publishers with a minimum of $20.00 in their account. If the amount is less than our $20.00 floor limit the amount will roll over to the following month.

What percentage of sales do you retain?

We retain 20% of all sales on our network leaving you the Publisher with 80% flat rate payout.

In order to maintain the quality of our network, each new site is automatically checked for currently available Alexa Ranking and Google Pagerank data. Your site may not have been approved if the ranking fell below our predefined threshold which is Google PR3 and above with Alexa ranking 999,999 and below. In certain instances we may also manually review sites and also reserve the right to lock or remove sites which we deem as not being appropriate for our network.

Do you accept adult or gambling sites?

How do I feature my site on the home page?

You can apply for a featured listing by clicking on the Further Promotion link after logging into your account. There are currently 6 slots for featured listings which rotate on each page view, the cost is $19.95 for 1 month entry and can be extended and paid for up to 3 months.

Do you have an affiliation program?

Not at the moment.

Do you protect against click fraud?

Our network software constantly monitors Publisher sites specifically against click fraud with various methods of detection, if we feel that a site is being targeted for fraud in any form we will at our discretion terminate the Publishers account without notice and retain all revenue.

Can I mix Acquire.net ads with Google AdSense ads?

Yes, however to be compliant with Google TOS "Terms of Service" your Acquire.net ads must not look the same or mimic Google AdSense ads which share the same page, it is also recommended that Acquire.net ads be identified accordinly with the "Ads by Acquire.net" link when creating your ads. Please check the current Google TOS and Programme Policies for more information on compliance.
